Five Points by Submotion Orchestra

Five Points is a taster of the upcoming new album from the English Electronic Jazz group Submotion Orchestra. Normally comprising up to seven members, their sound is best described as full-bodied and rousing but, compared with previous releases, the five tracks here are somewhat stripped back, with a focus more on synths. And with only a couple of tracks featuring the soulful vocals of Ruby Wood, the downtempo instrumental format suits them.
