Coastal sounds set the scene while his singular form of melancholic Ambient House, patiently evolved over a decade of releases, does the heavy lifting. Tape hiss and field recordings retain the quasi-sense of reality, while subtle percussion and pattering rhythms add texture to what's largely a very smooth ride.
