Paul Blackford - Jupiter Satellites

Jupiter Satellites by Paul Blackford

Long-haul Ambient

Celebrated for his upbeat Electro, Paul Blackford has made a stone-cold Ambient album called Jupiter Satellites, essentially a soundtrack for long-haul space travel. Moving fast, the passing scenes are but a blur with scant detail, interest or interruption to break the chilling tedium of the black spacescape. Each track, built on a meandering, drawn-out synth chord sucessfully bolsters the belief that the solar system is cold and lifeless.
