Second label compilation from Injazero Records is another quality despatch
You may remember I absolutely loved the first label compilation from Injazero Records back in 2018, so have been very pleasantly pleased with the compelling collection of Ambient-leaning electronic tracks that make up the second installment. As you would imagine from any label compilation, every track should be (and in this case, is) essential. Some are even magical!
Hinako Omori's contribution hints at exciting things for her debut album proper (her Auraelia EP from 2019 was excellent though) while one of my album of the year contenders, C.Diab, opens the compilation with a breathtaking display of yearning, bowed guitar. The ubiquitous KMRU, whose album Peel appeared in many end of year charts, turns in my fav, with emotive tribal drumming and chanting.
