A few good tunes Vol 51

Ten Pop tracks to enlighten and delight

  1. Airspace - Stillness - immersive, ambient music from LA-based producers Steve Nalepa and Tony Bevilacqua. Out now on Mute
  2. Paraphex - What We Leave Behind - beautiful Electronica from new artist Paraphex, a taster from eponymous forthcoming debut album, out via Parse Audio
  3. LA Vampires Does Cologne - HOWUKISS - lovely electronic Pop taken from new seven track album 10 Outta 10, a collaboration between LA Vampires and Cologne, out later this month on the ever reliable 100% Silk
  4. Weval - Same Little Thing (Michael Mayer Remix) - the German producer Michael Mayer always excels at remixes and this take on Weval's Same Little Thing is simply joyous
  5. Bell Towers - See You At Sandy's - a tasteful cover of Madonna's La Isla Bonita, part of a compilation called Chill Pill, out via Munich label Public Possession
  6. Ziúr - I Vanish - if this taste of Ziúr's forthcoming album ATØ is anything to go by, we're in for some quality leftfield Pop
  7. Martyn - Frozen Bread Snaps - the label head's own contribution to this four track various artists EP is the highlight, with his trademark reverberating bass and choppy rhythms
  8. SEER - Polaronic - you may have heard this one already in my recent monthly Spotify round-up. SEER is a Brooklyn-based duo and Paloronic is taken from a cracking five-track EP called No Resurrection, out now on Ghostly
  9. Furious Frank - Ahora Sí (feat. Ivy Barkakati) - delightful Acid Electro with a House undercurrent from Furious Frank and features the sexy vocals of Ivy Barkakati. Out via Australian label Butter Sessions
  10. Ratomagoson - Resin - Harry Orso, aka Ratomagoson, works with elements of Afrobeat to conjure up a magical treat. Taken from an EP of the same name on London-based label Nudibranch Records
