Michael Pettit is back as Overcast Sound with another glorious, meandering album called Fleuves. Translated as Big River, the water/river theme is central to his music once again and lead track Bend is the highlight.
Clocking in at 24 minutes, the track flows with a gentle tempo to begin with before eventually blistering and fading out, like Basinski's Disintegration tapes. Really beautiful.
