FFT - Disturb Roqe

Buzz Buzz Buzz

Disturb Roqe by FFT

Experimental and minimal Techno

Josh Thompson, the English musician formerly known as Alma Construct, and who now responds to the name FFT (short for Fast Fourier Transform, a technical term related to converting frequencies) has just released a new EP on Glasgow label Numbers, and it's a creeping, seeping, slow-growing beauty. Three sparse compositions built on skittering percussion, chopped-up vocals and minimal sound design, a bit like Alva Noto or Atom™. A full album is due to follow next year.
