THEY FUCKED AGAINST THE PINK WARM BELLY OF A DYING SUN - Glacier Gospel

Now this is an intriguing collaboration between Lukasz Polowczyk (AINT ABOUT ME) and Marc Jacobs (prairie); a deeply atmospheric prophesy, dark and doom filled.

"Glacier Gospel" is the first release from a self-titled 6-track album. The piece describes the ghosts of dead civilians traveling to a post-glacial lake to cleanse themselves before they can finally move on.

Uncle Kid - What A Wonderful World

Here's shady Scottish musician Uncle Kid with a surprisingly dark cover version of the Louis Armstrong classic. Channelling Aidan Moffat (from Arab Strap) the spoken-word recital builds with increasing musicality, incorporating guitar, strings and percussion to great effect. It's the Fisher Price musical instruments that give it the creepy edge though.
