Sicko Scholarship

In their mission to preserve Detroit’s musical stories and sounds, and encourage the next generation of music journalists, the Detroit Sound Conservancy set up the Sicko Scholarship in memory of Dan Sicko, the man who penned the first long form book on Techno (back in 1999) entitled Techno Rebels: The Renegades of Electronic Funk, who died in 2011.
