Boston native Isabella Koen with a new EP of uncompromising Techno
US producer Isabella Koen has been making all sorts of uncompromising electronic music over the last couple of years (check out her Soundcloud profile for fine examples) including a self-titled album for New York label Embalming Lately and another long-player called Viscous Positions for Detroit label Jacktone Records, both in 2016. You may already be familiar with Dying and Denying, her contribution to the Allergy Season x Discwoman compilation Physically Sick from last year.
Staying true to her experimental roots, new EP Whistle (on Peder Mannerfelt Produktion) presents five tracks, wide-ranging in style, from raw, Industrial rhythms to spooky Ambient interludes. Listen below (or here):
