Boards of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children

First album I heard from BOC and I should have known it was a classic in the making

First album I heard from BOC and I should have known it was a classic in the making: I didn't immediately like it for the first few listens! Of course, with perseverance, the delicious melodies, crackly beats and weird over-dubbed childrens voices began to get under my skin... and now I can't get enough.

The first track 'Wildlife Analysis' is such a warm and gentle intro it sets the scene perfectly as it drifts into 'An Eagle In Your Mind'. The album is made up of around nine full-length tracks interspersed with shorter soundscapes, each of which blend and contrast together successfully. And it's this sequencing technique that makes BOC so unique.
