The Caretaker - Everywhere at the end of time
First of six new albums from The Caretaker
Leyland James Kirby returns with the first of six new albums as The Caretaker. Everywhere at the end of time continues his exploration of dementia with twelve tracks that use old big band records to trigger memories and a sense of loss. And as The Caretaker deals with his own dementia, he plans to produce another five albums that will document the onset of the disorder, with each stage showing further his deterioration. This first stage deals with the early signs of memory loss.
This stage is most like a beautiful daydream.
The glory of old age and recollection.
The last of the great days.
We can expect further releases to follow in approximately six monthly cycles, ending in March 2019.
