With his fifth album Chapter Five French artist Memory Scale (Arnaud Castagné) graduates from his earlier work, influenced by 90's Ambient and bands like Seefeel and Boards of Canada, with a sound that's more his own. It's still a mix of Ambient and Electronica with a pleasing flow across the twelve tracks as they effortlessly drift through cosmic terrains of looping guitars and synths. Furthermore, everything's blanketed in a fuzzy melancholy, both nostalgic and reassuring.
