Adopting the natural melodies found in water samples to make electronic music is the sort of clever, inventive thing Ian McDonnell does well as an artist, drawing from obscure samples and raw sound design
. Influenced by Pierre Schaeffer, the eight tracks are built on the idea of using recorded sounds as raw material, set to a variety of rhythms. While visions of swimming, bath time, washing the dishes and hitting the bog all manifest, it's good fun.
