New EP from core members of 90s Experimental Rock band Bushpilot reincarnated as cybernetic synthesiser lovers 3 Electro Knights is a delight. Opener Rave One grooves along with layers of wonky percussion and a head-nodding rhythm; the subtle streak of underlying Acid tipping the cool scales. The Peter James 'Mandy Mix' of last year's epic I Move In Another Dimension (featuring Patti Smith's extraordinary poetry) is the standout, extending the original and beefing up the throbbing bass. Their synth adoration comes to the fore on the smouldering fourteen minute monster I_tense, essentially a recorded live jam in the studio with each band member contributing their constituent parts, showcasing a sense of creativity and harmony.
Rave One follows their Red Admiral EP, released earlier this year, also on Post Records.
