A new irregular collection of tracks, podcasts and other music-related links worth checking out

Fascinating insights on this recent Insight podcast (from Stillhead) that tells us the story behind the celebrated track Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters, and how the distinctive melody has been used and abused by other artists over the years.

With previous releases on Haunter Records and Lee Gamble's UIQ label, Egyptian producer ZULI will be releasing his debut album on the latter at the beginning of November. Called Terminal, it shies away from the dancefloor and features Egyptian rappers, although we expect a mix of melodic and Ambient tracks too. Listen to Kollu l-Joloud (ft. MSYLMA) below:

Objekt returns with a new album in November called Cocoon Crush, out via PAN. Here's a taster in the form of Secret Snake:

New old Veronica Vasicka track to be released called From Here. Originally made in 2004, the Minimal Wave label head had no intention of releasing the track at first but now, with the help of Regis, Paul Kendall and Chasm, we get a full remix EP!

New Suzanne Kraft alias SK U KNO has just released a new EP called U KNO. Fans of the Dutch artist's Ambient work should enjoy this:

Superb track from Mønic called Stampede: a thumping, tribal grinder, taken from a shared EP called Themes & Variations. Includes tracks from Overlook, Pessimist and Grebenstein.

Pec is the highlight from the new Yuri Urano EP called out now on Central Processing Unit.
