A few good tunes Vol 40

Ten tracks to fall in love with, includes KYO, Kornél Kovács, T.Raumschmiere and Gui Boratto

Dive into a selection of dark and trippy Techno with Dez Williams, KYO featuring Jeuru, Joton, Fort Romeau's remix of Heathered Pearls, Corren Cavini, Soda Lite, Kornél Kovács, T.Raumschmiere, Deadboy and Gui Boratto.

  1. Dez Williams - Failnot - as I already pointed out, the new EP from Dez Williams is fantastic. Essential.
  2. KYO w/ Jeuru - Take Me Home - Jeuru's deep, navel-gazing drawl and the lazy beats from KYO is a match made in heaven. Take Me Home is the first track from All The Same Dream, a new collaborative album on Posh Isolation, out end of August
  3. Joton - Antioquia I - sublime Detroit Techno from the Spanish DJ and Newrhythmic Records owner. Out now on ODD / EVEN
  4. Heathered Pearls - Under The Bridge (Fort Romeau's Amerikas Cities Mix) - Fort Romeau beefs up the original with bigger beats and a superb sample
  5. Corren Cavini - Out There (Radio Edit) - debut single from Dutch producer (real name Corne Kamminga) that takes a disco beat and a catchy vocal and ties them together with a nice trance-style progressive melody. Out now on Manual Music
  6. Soda Lite - Liffey Falls - lightweight Ambient sounds from an Australian musician, taken from a mixed EP on Ville Nouvelle
  7. Kornél Kovács - Babasonic - best track from the Swedish producer's new EP on Unknown To The Unknown - Tech House
  8. T.Raumschmiere - Augen Zu - the German stalwart Marco Haas on Kompakt for the latest in the Speicher series - the finest form of Electro in the guise of classic Anthony Rother
  9. Deadboy - So Cold - another new one on Unknown To The Unknown, this is the lead track from Deadboy's new Psychic Hotline EP
  10. Gui Boratto - Scene 2 - the Brazilian producer quietly slipped out his fifth album on Kompakt last month, and it's rather good. Scene 2 is a powerful centrepiece
