Six Tracks #22 - six cuts of gloriously austere and bin-shaking dark Ambient music.

  1. Clarice Jensen - One Bee - taken from the expanded reissue of her 2019 EP of "elegantly orchestrated compositions, in which neoclassical elements collide with electric density". Great artwork too! Drone Studies is out now via VAAGNER
  2. Red Stars Over Tokyo - Artificial Void - three years in the making, Jeroen Lauwers, aka RSOT, presents Artificial Peace, an EP of filtered loops and rumbling atmospheres. Quality work. Released via his own Limbic Resonance label
  3. 't Geruis - Voorzichtig Ontluikend - grainy textures and lo-fi recordings define the majority of this album (Bain D'Étoiles) but this particular track, with its piano and electronic organ, is a beacon shining through the gloom. Out now via laaps
  4. Flavia Massimo - Gagaku - Italian cellist brings an experimental element to her work by deconstructing her classical training and incorporating voice, synth, field recording, loops and live electronics. Taken from album Glitch, out via Audiobulb Records
  5. Aleksi Perälä - FI3AC2268040 - the monumental series of 'CYCLES' albums continues apace, and on the ninth outing, this Ambient composition chimes and soothes perfectly
  6. Torus - Sound Of The Drums VIP - taken from an EP 333 Mirrors, this four track EP is packed with concept and intrigue while celebrating the 333rd release on Tresor
