Scuba - Tru Love
Scuba's label Hotflush continue their 20th birthday celebrations with a solo album called Digital Underground. Taking Acid House and Hardcore as inspiration, he presents twelve new tracks with raving Acid riffs horns and plenty of old-skool samples. Opening salvo Tru Love gives you a good taster
Digital Underground is due for release on 10th November.

Noted, 19 Oct 2023, 10:09After 20 years in business, Scuba's Hotflush Recordings will be unleashing a bunch of compilations and originals, beginning with this no-nonsense collaboration with Distance, called Opposites.
Future releases include further Scuba collaborations (with Nikki Nair and Roska), along with compilations of new and classic Hotflush tracks. A UK, EU and American tour is also planned.

Emerging German artist Anna Kost follows last year's track on Soma with the first of two new EPs on Scuba's Hotflush Recordings offshoot Who Whom. The Very End Of You, works flavours of Techno and Bass into an accessible form. Opening track Basic 005 is my fav with crunchy drums and a subtle play on tension and release.
SCB - Hang Ten
A couple of new Dub Techno cuts from Paul Rose as SCB, revealing his Techno chops remain tasty after all these years.
Out today on Hotflush Recordings off-shoot Who Whom?, this is the first in a series of new releases planned for the label, with future works coming from Biemsix, Psyk and Anna Kost.
Bakongo x Spectr - Close Call
Paul Rose, aka Scuba, is back with his little-used alias Spectr and joins forces with old friend Bakongo, aka Wayne Goodlitt (Roska) to release two tribal jams.
