Music where technology, nature and biology collide
Better late than never, I've finally heard 13 Rabbits, the intriguing debut album from German artist Moritz Fasbender, aka Friederike Bernhardt, in which she combines piano and Prophet synthesiser to create a hybrid of film soundtrack and experimental classical compositions. And while Brandt Brauer Frick appear on one of the more high energy tracks, it's a largely downbeat affair, best suited for more introspective moments.

The enigmatic artist known as Eva Kierten is back for a third release on Scottish label Other Forms Of Consecrated Life. It's a twenty minute piece called The Metallic Ratio and is composed of piano loops softened by quietly seering strings, and underpinned with field recordings and subtle electronics. It's a mesmerising mix of ingredients.
