Lukeozade - The Ney Track
On his debut EP, Luke Scott, aka Irish artist Lukeozade, crosses East and West influences with confidence and flair. Fitting in alongside the recent flourish of artists making music in this way (check the Moktar EP review for some examples), opening statement The Ney Track, combines flutes and pipes and Eastern percussion with emotive, bass-heavy electronics. He's onto a winner!
