Aether Cone

A clever, networked music player disguised as a speaker

Aether Cone is a networked music player that looks like a speaker. It chooses music based on your listening habits, initially playing a random selection of audio from streaming music services, internet radio stations and podcasts, and gradually learning what you like, based on your choice of skipping a track or not. You can also request specific artists or songs by speaking into the built-in microphone.

It'll cost $399 when it ships in the summer.

NB: it only works with Mac computers for now, but there's planned Android support.
