Six Tracks #8 - my six picks of recent delights worth your attention.
Efdemin uses weird samples hewn from rocks on his exquisite contribution to the Stone Techno Series. I know nothing about Emeline but their track The News, part of the ÆX x Delsin Records EP, is quality stuff, an effortless touch, finely finessed. twofold is 22 year old US artist D Richardson, who makes complex, rich, unique-sounding electronic music (a recommendation from Joe Muggs). I'm a closet Apron Records fan, and the laid back vibe on this Jarren cut feels right at home - taken from his new album Antera. This Anatomist track is part of the recent Machine Records revival, and precedes a new album called Black Smoke Curls from the Cornwall-based producer, due out later this month (Aug 2021). And finally, top Indian producer AsymetriK, aka Arjun Vagale, with a ghostly, ethereal wander through an abandoned computer game - reminds me of the excellent Hypox1a EP Critical Moment Of Will.

Great tune from Efdemin called There Will Be Singing (Chicago) with accompanying video from Jutojo & Phillip Sollmann
It's been a strange month for music. I've been listening to so much new music that the listening-count for some albums and compilations is lower than
