I've never seen anything like this before. However, with a lack of related information about the exhibition, I can't be certain it's real or fabricated. Either way, it looks like Urs Fischer has dug up the gallery floor, at once transforming the gallery space beyond expectations while creating something by removing something. Clever stuff.
