Barminski

Barminski

6th Feb 2010

It's quite weird looking at the work of William James Barminski, not because of the optical-illusion-type mouths but because it's very similar to the type of work I was doing in my painting days. Clearly influenced by Rosenquist and Rauschenberg (and in turn Salle) he combines painterly mark-making with pop art; just my cup of tea.
