Intel Reader

20th Nov 2009

Computer chip manufacturer Intel has launched a new text reading device called the Reader. Simply point the device at text to transform to speech, ready for listening. Aimed as a learning device for schools and as an accessibility aid for the blind and partially-sighted, the price of £1000 will inevitably limit who can afford to use it.
