Amazing eight track album sounds like Plaid, Aphex Twin and Autechre
Montjuïc is such a strong debut album from Spanish "electronic music' aficionado Albert Salinas, aka Wooky. The beats and sounds may point to 90's electronic music from the likes of Plaid, Aphex Twin and Autechre, but it's far from derivative. Coupled with the sweet, melodius tunes and high quality production, this is an essential purchase.
Opening track Inner Maristany is simply brilliant.
