Excellent collection of singles from Kenneth Christiansen and Dennis Uprock
Thank goodness for singles collections, they let you catch up with an artist you completely missed, like me with the Danish duo Pattern Repeat. So if you're also into dub techno, then this eponymously-titled collection will be right up your street. The first collaboration between Kenneth Christiansen (of Echocord label) and Dennis Uprock (of Baum Records) was back in 2009, with four-track EP Gauge Tension, but none of those tracks appear on this compilation. Instead we get a selection of eight taken from their seven two-track singles that followed along with a couple of new numbers. Highly recommended.
